Transfer Members

Thank you for your interest in transferring to the Junior League Gwinnett & North Fulton Counties (JLGNF)! We’re excited you’re considering our League.

Below, you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions to help you navigate the transfer process.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can transfer?

Any Provisional, Active, or Sustaining member in good standing with their current League.

How to begin the transfer process?

To begin the transfer process to JLGNF, you’ll need to contact your current or most recent League directly and ask them to transfer your membership to JLGNF through the AJLI Transfer Membership System; it’s essential to check with them first as the specific procedure for requesting a transfer varies by League. Once your current League initiates the transfer, our Secretary will receive notification, accept the request in the system, and you will then receive an invitation email to join JLGNF’s Member Portal.

When can I transfer?

A League member in good standing can transfer from their current League to JLGNF at any time.

Are my current League dues transferable?

Membership dues are not transferable between Leagues. Depending on your current League’s policies and the timing of your transfer, you might be eligible for a pro-rated refund from them; subsequently, once your transfer to JLGNF is complete, our Secretary will contact you to determine the dues owed to JLGNF.

How can I check the status of my transfer?

To check the status of your initiated transfer, please contact our Secretary at info@jlgnf.org.

If you have questions about what it’s like to be a member of JLGNF, please don’t hesitate to contact our Membership VP at MembershipVP@jlgnf.org. We’d love to tell you more!
